Korean Dating Tips For Guys! Give Yourself The Best Chance With These 5 Dating Tips!

When I first came to Korea I wished that I had had some solid Korean women dating tips for guys like me.

They would have saved me from a lot of heart aches and disappointments.

The major dillema you'll face is discovering what a Korean woman wants.

Granted every Korean woman is different but in general Korean women have similar values and cultural expectations.

Not only that but If you want to date the hottest Korean women (like the ones below) there are 5 things I recommend doing well:


• Show status

• Dress the part

• Be and stay thin

• Tell her what you want

• Have Korean friends

This is especially important with the hotter Korean women because for the most part they're comfortable in their culture. In other words it'll be up to you make the effort and put in the work.

As far as she's concerned she's got enough choices.

Sure you might think that these 5 tips would work in your home country too. Especially with the hotter women.

It's a little different in Korea and with Korean women. Let me explain:

Have And Show Status!

She'll ask you this in the first minute of conversation.

This is because Koreans socially slot you based on your job and title.

Ideally you work for Samsung and are a CEO.

Since that's not most of us, we'll have to improvise. ;-)

If you have a good job title like

• Engineer

• Pilot

• Doctor

etc...then I recommend letting her know as soon as she asks.

If you don't have a good job then I recommend embellishing your title.

You're not a teacher, you're an educator. You're not a cab driver, you're a chauffeur. Simple enough, right? ;-)

"That's lying!" you say?

If you want to date that Korean woman you have to understand and value what Koreans like (which is 'looking good'.) Ever wonder why Korea has the highest plastic surgery rate in the world?

In the West we might see what Koreans do as 'stretching' the truth. In Korea the people will see you as not understanding the culture if you don't do it!

Dress Well!

At least look respectable when dating Korean women. That means no flip-flops and tank tops! ;-)

This is one of the best dating tips for guys that you can work on. Just dress well.

In fact if you really want to make a good impression then dress like a Korean man (like this guy on the right!) ;-)

Okay, maybe not.

Be and Stay Thin!

Being chubby or muscular is not!

Again I'm talking about generalities here. If you want to have the best chances then go to the gym and do what it takes to be thin and not muscular.

I can't really complain much because Korean women sure look thin for us, so why not do the same?

I know this might be one of those mundane dating tips for guys but what can I say? For a culture where superficiality rules, being thin is very important.

Tell Her What You Want!

If you want her to be your girlfriend then you'll have to tell her when you start dating.

Either that or she'll assume that you're not interested in being her boyfriend and she'll move on without saying a word...

This culture difference hurt me. If you want a Korean girlfriend then this might be one of those life-saving dating tips for guys that you learn.

Have Korean Friends!

That will make you come across as safer and able to understand her and her culture.

Aren't These Dating Tips For Guys Useful Anywhere?

The thing is that most Korean women don't date because the like the guy they're with. They date mainly because they're expected to have a relationship and her friends most probably introduced her to that guy.

Remember, it's all about 'looking good'.

Understand that being a foreigner puts you at a disadvantage. She will have to explain to her friends (and family) that she's dating a foreigner and that's never pleasant.

So if you care about her and want to up your chances with having a relationship with her then you're going to have to bring more to the table than your charming personality (which doesn't matter as much for Korean women.)

Dress well, look good and most importantly - have status.

Yes these are generalities. Korea is changing and becoming more 'Westernized'. Now whether that's good or bad is another issue.

Not only that but it will take South Korea a generation or so to stop evaluating people based on superficialities. Even though we all do it (Western and Korean women are no different) in the West we tend to seek more than status.

Eventually in South Korea it will be the same. Until then I recommend applying these Korean dating tips for guys.
